Montwood Robotics could not exist without the select few who help and teach us.

Want to become a sponsor?

The Montwood High School Robotics program, founded in 2011. Over the course of time we developed into a premier organization with the help of Montwood High School, our sponsors, and the members of the organization. This 2018-2019 school year marks the eighth consecutive year that we will be participating in the ©FIRST Tech Challenge Robotics Tournament, and our third year participating in the ©BEST Robotics Competition. In BEST, we have been awarded with 4th Overall, Spirit, and Notebook .  In FTC, we have accomplished many tasks and won various awards including Inspire Awards, Finalist Awards, and Design Awards.

Throughout these six years, members of robotics have been given the opportunity to expand their knowledge of engineering through the different aspects allocated to participating in the ©BEST Robotics Competition and the ©FIRST Tech Challenge . These practices include the designing and building processes for the completion of our competing robots, the maintenance of an official engineering notebook, a diligent focus to fundraising, as well as giving back to the community through outreach. This year promises to be one of our best years considering the amount of knowledge we now possess as well as the amount of participants in our organization.

The Montwood High School Robotics club strives to encourage students to explore opportunities in the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) work field.

Through the acquisition of knowledge and experience, we aim to make the El Paso STEM Community more popular, and to educate about the importance of STEM and related fields.
